Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Urs Schumacher (b. 1963) has been CEO of LeShop.ch since August 2017. Before succeeding Dominique Locher in this post, he headed up Sales, Procurement and Communication at the Neuenburg-Freiburg Migros Cooperative, which means that he is very familiar with the Migros Group.
Urs Schumacher has extensive knowledge of the Swiss retail trade. Over the past 30 years, he held various management positions at Herren-Globus and Office World before taking up the reins of the Globus branch in Neuenburg from 1999. From there, he moved to the Loeb Group, where he was a member of the managing board in charge of the warehouse in Bern. In 2005, he joined the Neuenburg-Freiburg Migros Cooperative as head of Marketing and Logistics before assuming overall responsibility for Sales, Procurement and Communication.
He graduated from the School of Commerce in Baden and speaks fluent German, French and English.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Christophe Broggi (b. 1967) has been Chief Financial Officer at LeShop.ch since September 2018. He has 20 years of experience as CFO in finance and controlling at the operational and corporate level.
Before joining LeShop.ch, he held CFO posts in fast-growing technology and life science start-ups. Prior to that, he spent seven years with ABB Ltd, assuming increasing responsibility in a variety of positions and countries and reporting directly to the CFO. In his last position at ABB Ventures Ltd, Christophe headed up the company’s global business as its investment director & CFO.
Christophe Broggi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics from Biel School of Engineering and an MBA from the University of Rochester, USA. He speaks fluent French and English and has good working knowledge of German.
Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
David Ochmann (1984) joined LeShop.ch as CCO in November 2018. His responsibilities include the constant optimization of all Marketing & Sales activities, Category & pricing management as well as organizational agility.
Prior to joining LeShop, David gathered extensive digital Marketing & Sales experience in various industries: He led sales growth projects with a focus on e-commerce, personalization and agility for a leading global strategy consulting firm and was the Head of Sales of a digital publishing house in Germany. David started his professional career in the Media management team of a large multinational consumer goods player based in Switzerland.
David Ochmann holds Master’s degrees in Marine Biology and Engineering, having studied in Berlin and Berkeley (US). He is fluent in German, English and Spanish and has good working knowledge of French.
Chief Logistics Officer (CLO)
Nicolas Soussan (b. 1976) has been responsible for Operational Logistics, Transport and Supply Chain since October 2012. In this capacity, he heads up the teams in the two Logistics centers in Ecublens and Bremgarten, services the strategic distribution partners, notably the Swiss Post Office, and leads the Supply team.
Before joining LeShop.ch, Nicolas Soussan worked for a large South African luxury goods company, in charge of a project to integrate the supply chain for perfumes. Following this project, he structured the logistics of an SME in the construction materials sector which was experiencing rapid growth. Lastly, he assumed management of the supply and transport division of the Swiss subsidiary of a large French furniture group, where he succeeded in significantly improving product availability and inventory levels.
Nicolas Soussan graduated from the Ecole Centrale Paris (1998) with a specialisation in Production and Logistics. In addition to his native language of French, he speaks fluent English and German.
Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Eric Devantay (1977) joined LeShop.ch in 2013 as head of Customer Solutions and in August 2018 took over as head of the IT department. Among other things, he helped implement an offshore partnership and expanded his team in Ecublens to increase development capacity. In addition to this, internally he took charge of the development of mobile applications, headed up the program to transform the www.leshop.ch website and modernized the company’s IT.
Before moving to LeShop SA, he worked for an IT services provider as a specialist in CRM and ERP systems integration, and as a manager with a telecommunications company.
Eric graduated from EPFL in Lausanne and speaks fluent French and English.
